The exhibition is accompanied by a lengthy catalogue with 320 illustrations of excellent quality, mostly in colour, published by the Hirmer Verlag in Munich. It is the first illustrated monograph about the artist and has been compiled by renowned scholars. The catalogue pays tribute to the importance of the artist
Hans Rottenhammer by exploring various aspects of his work and his influence in a European setting.
